10 May Powerfully Prioritise for Meaningful Life and Success
Do you use to-do list to prioritize and accomplish your goals,
your daily activities, and other things. Do you already use to-do-list, but never seen to finish what you started? It is frustrated, isn’t it? By mastering the art of the to-do-list, you’ll find more time for yourself, more time fort he things you love to do and more time fo the things you long to do. To solve this dilemma, to empower yourself and to manage your time and life effectively, I offer you to use 4 different type of lists. These are “not to do list”,“give a brake list”, “to be list” and last and most importantly “desire list”.
1. Not to do list- you from reaching greatness, reducing your performance, sucking your energy, stealing your time. none of these things is in your best interest: sleeping late, eating high carbohydrates, sitting all day long, smoking cigarettes, excessive shopping, procrastinating. It is time to take action and remove these bad habits from your life.
You will use give a brake list when you are repeatedly doing things with which you are not happy. It can be a recently released product, service, it can be a relationship or a partnership, a half-written novel or play; it can be anything. Bad habits are like a comfortable bed,
easy to get into but hard to get out. Anonymous If you feel like something is holding you back take a break… give a pause… You will gain time to think with the healthy mind, it will help you to connect with your heart and your deepest desire and make a wise decision. When you feel ready, you can sit down and review the subject and review any subject and you can see big Picture allowing you to make a clear decision. Time is a medicine to everything.
3. To be list
To be list relates to being your true self. This is a list for being what you really want to be, what you desire to be, What you want to be. A mother, a father, artist, writer, entrepreneur, leader, mindful worker, assertive person, pianist, champion, what you really want to be? What is you deepest desire?
4. Desire list
The desire list is the foundation of the to be list. Having a purposeful desire-list will give you direction and alleviate boredom. Preparing a desire list requires intention(check out my other post discussing the power of intention), openness to yourself and your true desires. Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine and at last you create what you will. George Bernard Shaw To create a desire list I encourage you to set 15 minutes per day to ask yourself:
- Where do you want to go?
- What do you want to do?
- What do you want to buy?
- What do you want to sell?
Write anything that comes to your mind, without stop, and then read it out loud and give each item a value from 0 to 10.
Come back to the list in a couple of days and see which item resonates with you the most, see which triggers the greatest emotional response. If your priorities change or are affirmed, then plan the rest of your time around the goals you’ve set for yourself. Clean the clutter from your life and give yourself space to become the person you believe yourself to be.
